Farrah and her babies.

Update: Animal Friends Rescue Project has many kittens and cats available. Visit their adoption center in Pacific Grove, or Salinas Animal Services, Monterey County Animal Services, or the SPCA for Monterey County.

Two hungry stray mama cats nursing 10 kittens showed up at Friendly Farms in September. Thankfully our friend Mia has cat rescue as her super-power, and she was able to trap and find foster homes for the two sweet families. Now it is time for them to find homes.

One of the mothers, Tabitha, is semi-feral and has been returned to our property. We will feed, shelter, and provide medical care for her. The other mama, Farrah (pictured above with her kittens), is very friendly and enjoys being a house kitty. She is available for adoption now. The kittens will be ready in about a week. All are spayed or neutered and have been vaccinated.

Contact us here at Friendly Farms for more information.

Update 12/9/09: Cyril is now a resident of Burrow Inn of South San Francisco. Contact Donna at 650-994-1012 for more information. Thank you, Donna!

Cyril is an elder bunny at 8 years of age; just right for someone who wants a companion who is interested in quiet contemplation and strokes instead of chewing the baseboards or going through the bookshelves for a snack.

Cyril was left at the shelter with a weepy eye, which is responding well to medications. He is scheduled to be neutered this Thursday.

Cyril is currently being fostered by Friendly Farms for the shelter. Please call shelter advocate Leslie at 831-588-6676 for more information about fostering or adopting this special bunny.
