Bonding day. Penny is a bit of a pistol and poor Softy was completely overwhelmed by her, so we are trying her with Midnight and Cookie instead.
Midnight immediately set the rules, and now they are smoothing out the rough edges. Midnight still gets her hackles up from time to time, but Penny is being properly deferential to her elders now.
I survived taking care of 2 pairs of piggies - my 1st experience with them, interesting litl critters π
Yes we’ve had piggies that are a bit over the top with everyone they are introduced to and they need that special pig that will even things out. Crossing fingers this works! Good luck!
Please join us in welcoming Penny! This sweet little girl is about 8 months old. We were asked to take her, as her humans were having difficulty rehoming her after finding out that one of them is allergic to her. π€§
Penny will take some time to settle in, and then weβll see if she and Softy are a good match. π ... See MoreSee Less
Weβve been doing some bonding in the guinea pig room. Little Midnight has been by herself since Pebbles died, so we introduced her to Cookie. They hit it off okay and are calmly cohabitating now. ππΉ
We tried Softy with Bubbles and Sprinkles. That was not so easy. They are tough girls and seriously do not want any stinky boys in their clubhouse, even when they were offered a new, larger space. Poor guy will be on his own for a little longer. π ... See MoreSee Less
Pebbles and her brother Bam Bam were born here November 1, 2017. Their mom, Wilma, delivered just a few days after arriving. Bam Bam was adopted with Sparklesβ girl Rae by a wonderful family. Pebbles stayed with her elderly mother, and they were joined first by Donny, and then Rascal, when Donny passed away. After Wilma died, Lizzie and Candy moved in with them, and later Midnight and Honey.
Pebbles was easy going and everyoneβs friend. Weβre so glad she had a long, healthy and happy life with us. She is missed. ππΉ ... See MoreSee Less

That’ll keep him in his place, lol
Sigh. Guess who learned he could jump into the living room today? Mr. Langston has some excellent springs in his thumpers. Temporary measures until we get things rearranged. π©Άπ ... See MoreSee Less
