Friendly Farms - A Small Animal Sanctuary
Rex came to us last August from Hitchcock Road Animal Services with medical needs. He had a recurring jaw abscess from some diseased molars that eventually misaligned his jaw. He was only able to eat formula for most of the time we had him.
Nevertheless, he was a cheerful and resilient little guy through all of the meds, abscess cleanings, and dentals, and we kept pushing forward in the hope of being able to ultimately get rid of the infection. Sadly, Tuesday’s surgery was too much for him, and he passed away early Wednesday morning. 😭
Rex was a delightful little man, and I’m sorry we weren’t able to succeed in giving him a long, healthy life. Rest in peace, Rexy. 👑
